24-year-old tennis star Mathieu Montcourt died of a heart attack in the stairwell of his Paris apartment building, according to post-mortem tests. Montcourt was ranked 119 in the world.
The French Tennis Federation said: Mathieu was an enthusiastic young man, passionate, and extremely appreciated for his kindness and politeness.” He was found in the stairwell by his girlfriend. Toxicology tests proved negative.
