The man who brokered David Beckham’s move to the LA Galaxy, Alexi Lalas, has said that David Beckham will “get booed and it’s of his own making” when he returns to the LA Galaxy from his temporary position at AC Milan.
Lalas said: “If he comes back this summer, as has been reported, I’m sure he’ll do everything he can to help the team on the field. But I’m also sure there is something to be said for having players on your team who want to be there.”
Beckham will miss the first half of the MLS season because he will be finishing the current season with Milan. He will then take a month off before taking the field again for the Galaxy. Beckham has been generally slammed by fans for his decision.
