Arsenal captain William Gallas has drawn fire after slamming his team-mates and questioning whether or not the time has the courage to chase a Premiere League title. He also said that one player was disrupting team morale.

Gallas said that, “We are not brave enough in battle. I think we need to be soldiers. To be champions, you have to play big matches every weekend and fight.” He made the comment after his team lost 0-2 to Aston Villa.

He added: “We are coming up against teams who are not scared to play football against us, who are not scared to take us on at our place, and this is becoming dangerous for Arsenal. We have to be warriors.”
