According to a report on the Sports Illustrated Web site, Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez tested positive to steroid use in 2003, when he was playing for Texas. He tested positive to two anabolic steroids.
A-Rod, as he is known, has denied ever using any kind of performance enhancing drugs. Sports Illustrated approached him about the speculation late last week, but he refused to comment, saying simply “You’ll have to talk to the union.”
According to the SI report, A-Rod is included on the list of 104 players who tested positive for PEDs in 2003. Four different sources spoke to SI for the report.
